We featured Vanesa Del Rey last week through her work in Redlands. Just to illustrate my point (pardon the pun): Redlands came out in 2018. The Voices Said Kill was published in 2025. Del Rey seems to have perfected her signature style through those years, one that I don’t particularly enjoy because it’s too hectic.
Don’t get me wrong, I also don’t enjoy Mark Millar‘s style because it’s too minimalistic.
But anyway, here’s another swampy entry from Del Rey.
