Dicks, Butts, Naked Souls and Statue in Mark Smylie’s “Artesia”

Mark Smylie is one of those (straight?) male comic book artists and writers who seem to have no objections drawing dicks, and we’re all in support of that.

Another one to look out for is Alejandro Jodorowsky, whom we have featured a few times.

The blurb:

In the Highlands of the Middle Kingdoms, where witchcraft and warlords vie for power, a warrior-priestess named Artesia fights for her king against the rulers of rival citadels.

Original title: Artesia
Writer, artist: Mark Smylie
Publisher: Sirius Entertainment (English/1999)

Dollsexposed documents full-frontal male nudity in comics and cartoons from mainstream and independent creators. The project was created in response to the longstanding imbalance in how male and female nudity are depicted in popular media.

Outside of Nerdcore, Dollsexposed creates mixed-media and miniature photography. Their work has been included in several juried exhibitions and festivals, including Tucson Erotica Art Show, Seattle Erotic Art Festival, Los Angeles Kinky Art Show, and Los Angeles Leather Getaway.
