We’re doing our part in commemorating the devastating 9/11 Islamic terror attacks in New York and Virginia by featuring this Tom King & Mitch Gerads project from Vertigo Comics.
Speaking of, is it just us or is Tom King getting super formulaic? I haven’t been super thrilled with his new Wonder Woman run, and I think Absolute Wonder Woman is the currently more superior read right now.
However, another link to King’s work: after 9/11, he joined the CIA to become the counterterrorism operative and was actually approached by Vertigo to write about his experience. This became the basis of The Sheriff of Babylon. Pretty cool stuff.
