We know, we know, it’s a bit of a cheat to feature a naked statue in Nerdcore, but we’ve done it before. Besides, Michelangelo’s David is probably one of the most beautiful (and gayest) famous art piece. It’s so gay Tom of Finland made a drawing of it, and of course Dollsexposed even has a tiny replica of it in the home of our main characters.
The Sandman and Thessaly were co-created by Neil Gaiman and, with all the allegations swirling around him, let’s just say we’re trying to put this post out before it all goes to shit (it most likely will). Besides, it’s a good way to practice separating the art from the artist.
If people can still believe in god despite everything she’s done, or to that extent Johnny Depp, Michael Jackson, Eminem, or the prophet Mohammed, then we sure as hell can still appreciate Neil Gaiman. It still doesn’t excuse the atrocities he’s accused of having done.
