Spartan Dicks & Butts in Frank Miller’s “300”Extreme

To end our Greek History Month is the famous 300 comic by Frank Miller. Can you imagine if the movie actually showed the actors full-frontal? I’d watch that. (I’ve never seen the movie but I know Xerxes’ fabulous and I might dress up as him for Halloween one day.)

The blurb:

A force of men is assembled, so massive it shakes the earth with its march — an army, vast beyond imagining, poised to devour tiny Greece, to snuff out the world’s one hope for reason and justice. Only three hundred brave souls block its dash. But they are more than men… they are Spartans. The first full-color project by Frank Miller for Dark Horse, painted by Lynn Varley (Ronin, The Dark Knight Returns).

Original title: 300
Writer, artist: Frank Miller
Colorist: Lynn Varley
Publisher: Dark Horse Comics (English/1998, 1999, 2006)

Dollsexposed documents full-frontal male nudity in comics and cartoons from mainstream and independent creators. The project was created in response to the longstanding imbalance in how male and female nudity are depicted in popular media.

Outside of Nerdcore, Dollsexposed creates mixed-media and miniature photography. Their work has been included in several juried exhibitions and festivals, including Tucson Erotica Art Show, Seattle Erotic Art Festival, Los Angeles Kinky Art Show, and Los Angeles Leather Getaway.
