A comic titled Three for our third entry? That’s kismet!
We follow the story of one Helot in the first post for Greek History Month. This one has three. One thing I appreciate from this comic (thank you so much, Jordie Bellaire and team), is that the statues are depicted as having been painted in various colors, including their skin.
The blurb:
In ancient Sparta, three Helot slaves run for lives. Pursuing them are three hundred of their Spartan masters. Kieron Gillen (Phonogram, Iron Man), Ryan Kelly (Local, Saucer Country), and Jordi Bellaire (The Manhattan Projects, Nowhere Men) join forces to tell a legend for our times. Includes cover gallery, making of material, and annotations.
