(Almost) Dicks & Bondage in Cinebook’s “Wisher”

For a comic book that shows naked feminine-presenting fairies in the cover of its first book, Wisher seems to almost be hell-bent on showcasing nude men (in this case, it’s the titular protagonist, or rather his code name).

Then again, said cover also has Wisher (real name Nigel) being apprehended, the button gaps of his shirt revealing pec lines and his navel. So, yeah.

From Cinebook:

Nigel Grant has a gift: he’s very, very good at finding whatever people want for them. Thanks to that almost supernatural skill, he lives a comfortable, carefree life in London. But one day, a client and friend of his throws himself under an underground train. Shocked by the unexpected death, Nigel is soon swept into a web of intrigue, deception and death as he realises that suicide and the subsequent incidents all revolve around one person: him.

Dollsexposed documents full-frontal male nudity in comics and cartoons from mainstream and independent creators. The project was created in response to the longstanding imbalance in how male and female nudity are depicted in popular media.

Outside of Nerdcore, Dollsexposed creates mixed-media and miniature photography. Their work has been included in several juried exhibitions and festivals, including Tucson Erotica Art Show, Seattle Erotic Art Festival, Los Angeles Kinky Art Show, and Los Angeles Leather Getaway.
